Speed on the water has always been a passion since I was very young. My first race boat was a 10' hydroplane with a 20hp Chrysler outboard back in 1968. After being bitten by the bug I continued to build faster boats and purchasd my first Allison in 1974. In 1987 I entered my first TCPBA race and the rest is history. My sons have been to every TCPBA race growing up and took a real interest in the sport. Today I am proud of both of my sons and their accomplishments. Both Steve and Brian have turned out to be excellent drivers, mechanics and boat builders. Boat racing has been a family affair for the Tabara Racing family for the past 25 years.
