Sport C Power Boat Racing!
Welcome to SportC.com.
Professional powerboat racing is unlike
any other form of motor sport competition. The driver and his/her equipment are matched
not only against the field of competitors but also against the ever-changing and always
unpredictable elements of water and weather.
A boat race is
physically demanding. Jolting from wave to wave, the driver must constantly battle the
repeated shock of the boat pounding across the water. The pivoted, square turns exert a
force of up to 3 lateral Gs on the driver, slamming him/her into the unyielding
sides of the race craft, putting unbelievable pressure on the competitors neck, shoulders
and arm muscles. Please take the
time and explore sportc.com and if you have any questions about Sport c or Boat Racing

Sport
C's numbers out west continue to grow consistantly! Sport c in
the midwest also has some new additions for next season.
Nicole Hansen will be driving the former Langraf Barney boat.
Nicole showed her driving skills at Moose Lake taking 3rd in her
first race in a sport c tunnel boat.
Bruce
Pederson will be driving the sister boat to Mike Hodges next
season. Bruce coming out to Moose Lake for his rookie drive in
Mini GT will make the step over to Sport C.
Denise Talcott will be adding the yellow Yeeha machine to the
field from Northern Michigan. Carl Barrett's boat should be back
on the scene, after repairs are made from his mishap in Crosby
MN.
There
will be a new driver out of Duluth MN for next season. Dave and
his son are going to make a go out of it, its great to see some
more guys from way up north want to travel down for some races.
Word
is that Nancy Landgraf will be having a new boat for the 06
season. She finished strong in the 05 season, and maybe her new
boat is just what she needs to get up in the front.
Plenty of good equipment out there for sale. Giovanni Tonti is
selling his Gran Prix capsule boat. Contact
