Sport C's had a great year of racing this season. Rookie driver Matt Barrett was the high point rookie this season. However, at Moose Lake MN there was another Rookie driver showcased, and she's fast!
Alyssa Petroni of Kankakee IL, piloted her Petroni Racing number 11 boat to her first finish. She did very well, everyone in the class is going to have to keep an eye on her. The Petroni team has many years of experience with her dad driving throughout the 90's.
Next season we are expected to have yet even more increased driver participation in the class.
The Tabara Racing camp once again will be have a new driver out there. Giovanni Tonti, a former inboard driver will be piloting a Gran Prix powered boat. He is eagerly waiting for the next season to start!
